Hi, I am going to move to Highlands in the Spring on and was wondering if there are any single ladies in the area in there 20’s to mid 30’s. I am 35 year old male and will be moving from a Colorado mountain town that has 4 guys for every 1 girl and am wondering what to expect in NC. Not really. Main Street, Highlands, NC Midscale, smoke-free, downtown Highlands hotel. Rated Very High. $$$.

There are many great restaurants in Highlands, but this is definitely our favorite. The service is always great, Deanna at the bar is an artisan as well as a a delight, and the food is consistently incredible! The chef always puts interesting twists on dishes made from real food. The hummingbirds entertain during the warm weather seasons and the live piano music every night is amazingly entertaining.

We couldn’t love it here more! This place is a little out of “town” but worth the very short drive. There is a large inside dining room and bar where someone played the piano. We sat out on the enclosed porch which overlooks the lake. The service is very attentive and the food is terrific. Fresh seafood was our choice this night-halibut and redfish.

Couldn’t decide which was better.
